Info
There are 2 different rainwater filters:
- Basic type RWF100
- Auto-cleaning type RWF50ZR
The basic type RWF100 is provided with a filter basket. If the
basket is clogged up with dirt and leaves, the water will be
drained off to the overflow. This filter is called the
leaf-filter.
The auto-cleaning type RWF50ZR is made with an inox filter with
fine slots. This gives a capture rate of 90%. The filter can handle
a roof top surface of 400m². This filter is an auto-cleaning
type.
Operation
Standard type RWF100:
The water coming from the roof gutters enters the tank through
the inlet into the installed rainwater filter (a removable filter
basket with meshes of 1,5 mm). The water flows through the basket
trapping the solid particles in the filter. The outlet is located
underneath the basket and is connected to the inlet of the
rainwater tank allowing the filtered water to be collected in the
tank. Below the level of the inlet, but above the filter, an
overflow has been installed. Should the filter basket clog up
because it wasn't cleaned on time, this overflow will drain off the
water to the overflow of the rainwater tank preventing any
flooding. The rainwater filter also can be used as a collector,
having optional inlets (maximum 7) which can be requested. The
optional inlets are situated at 45° intervals.
Auto-cleaning type RWF50ZR:
The water coming from the roof gutters enters the tank through
the inlet. A filter tube is fixed horizontally in the rainwater
filter. The water will go part way through the mesh tube and flow
in the area beneath. Then it flows from the outlet (3 outlet
options) to the rainwater tank. The solid particles stay behind in
the filter and will be removed out the overflow during a heavy
rain. The filter can be connected to tubes of 110 and 125mm. The
filter tube can be easily removed for maintenance.
This filter is also available as an integrated model which is
then built in the riser of the tank.
